Oh, and enemy soldiers are riding the missiles, firing at you.
One of my favorites finds Bill dodging incoming missiles while riding atop a moving truck AND a mechanical camel is chasing you. There are many great, ridiculous action sequences in this game. The hilariously campy story unfolds in well-drawn cut scenes. Along for the ride is a mysterious new character named Yaggyu (which player two will control in co-op mode), who is an identical fighter save for a slight cosmetic difference. He was been awakened from some sort of cryogenic sleep in order to save the world from Chief Salamander and his hordes of invaders.
Bill Rizer, the Schwarzenegger rip-off from the first Contra, is back, although he has no memory that he's a muscle-bound alien-murdering machine.
